To PlacesLocated in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, the town of Towrang was first settled by farmers in the early 1800s. Despite once being a thriving community of orchardists, the railway line which was established through the region in 1869 was closed in the 1970s and signalled the decline of the region in favour of nearby Goulburn.
