To PlacesThe northern New South Wales town of Jennings is located just south of the Queensland border and takes its name from 1880s New South Wales Premier Sir Patrick Jennings. As part of the Centenary of Federation Projects undertaken in 2001, a re-survey of the state borders revealed that a mistake in the original mapping had incorrectly placed the town of Jennings below the borderline in New South Wales.
