To Places

Named after local police constable John French, who was given one of the first land grants in the area, Sydney's Frenchs Forest was first settled in the 1850s. Isolated from Sydney’s main transport arteries with no train station running through the area, Frenchs Forest remained a primarily rural area until significant redevelopment following World War II.
