A neighbourhood within the suburb of Minto about 2.5km W of Long Point Boundaries within the Campbelltown Council area shown on map GNB4174.

It was originally the name given to a creek which passes through the suburb. The original spelling was Boro Borang but through careless writers of old deeds it became Boro Bowing and then today's Bow Bowing (Sydney Suburbs, K Anderson, 1989).
