You are in: Bondi Junction
To PlacesLocated at the end of Oxford Street on the hills behind Bondi Beach, Bondi Junction has always been the transport and commercial centre of the eastern suburbs. Following the closure of the Bondi Junction tramline in 1953, the railway line would finally be extended to Bondi Junction in 1979 making the suburbs retail strips and shopping centres increasingly popular with visitors. Today Bondi Junction’s Westfield Shopping Centre is one of the largest in Sydney.
