With an exceptionally educated and creative workforce, commercial competitiveness has led to substantial growth and innovation in information technologies in Australia, attracting overseas attention and international skilled workers to the industry. This environment has led to major multinational ITC companies such as Microsoft, IBM, Nokia and Samsung establishing their Australian offices in New South Wales.
The NSW Government has funded a number of specific ITC projects to help support the local industry and continue to attract international investment. Collaborative ITC company National Information and Communications Technology Australia bases itself in Sydney and uses the wealth of industry talent in NSW to investigate information and communications solutions for businesses nationwide.
