Led by Sydney's busy Kingsford Smith International Airport and the Australian Army bases around the State, New South Wales is home to key defence and aeronautical infrastructure, putting it in a unique position to be a leader in the field. 2006-2007 saw two-way trade of New South Wales' aerospace and defence products with its key international partners, including United States and United Kingdom, turn over $1.3 billion.
