Evonne Goolagong Cawley is one of Australia's most successful female sporting stars. She won a staggering 92 international tennis titles in her career, including two coveted Wimbleton titles. She was awarded Australian of the Year in 1971 and received the Order of Australia in 1983. Finally retiring from tennis in 1983, Goolagong Cawley has since invested efforts in increasing the awareness of Australian women in sport.
