The arid loving Citrus glauca or Desert Lime is found predominantly in the dry tablelands of western New South Wales. Often growing in dense thickets, Desert Limes are prized for their distinctly sweet tangy fruit and are becoming increasingly popular within the bush foods industry. With remarkable drought resistant properties, the Desert Lime has been investigated as a potential source of rootstock to make conventional citrus trees more drought hardy.
